STAY
It really has been a year like no other.
From global lockdowns to social movements, from scientific breakthroughs to global tragedies there really has just been, a lot.
Despite social media and the digital age, we’ve all been on this journey alone in so many different ways. Whether you’ve personally experienced trauma or are feeling it on behalf of the people around you, your feelings matter, YOU matter.
Suicide takes the lives of 125 people every week in the UK. We think that’s 125 too many.
So this World Suicide Prevention Day we wanted to share in CALM’s (Campaign Against Living Miserably) message of, #STAY
We want everyone to know that there is someone out there who wants them to stay.
Please, stay.
At MIGHTY like CALM, we believe in hope and a reason for living too, we are proud to support CALM, who offer a free and confidential helpline and webchat – 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about life’s problems.
We’ve all experienced a lot this past year. We can get through this, together. We want all of you to be here. So if you need to, please reach out.
The CALM website has some great ways of getting involved with sharing their powerful message and mission. In October they’re running their Lost Hours Walk.
There are two ways to take part; you can join others at the Lost Hours Walk London on October 30th, or create your own walk for friends and family for Lost Hours Walk Local.
At MIGHTY community is MIGHTY important to us, you can join our #MIGHTYMovement and #BeMIGHTY by following us on social media and every week we’ll have content right here, so stay connected and #LiveMIGHTY
